Education: University of Houston College of Optometry Specialties: dry eye disease, cataract/LASIK co-management, contact lenses, diabetic eye disease
Dr. Marianne first became interested in optometry at a young age when she was told she did not need glasses (even though she REALLY wanted them). Years later, after graduating from the University of Houston's optometry program and initially working in Texas, she found herself venturing out to the Pacific Northwest to be reunited with her sister and explore the outdoors.
Dr. Marianne's goals in the exam room extend beyond helping each patient see 20/20. She hopes to educate her patients thoroughly enough to become their own eye health advocate and create a meaningful connection well beyond the eyes.
On her days off, you'll find Dr. Marianne at a park with her fetch-obsessed puppy, Aella, perusing around the local library with her husband, or in her craft corner creating her next fun project.
